Hotel and location:

With a fabulous Location in Central Barcelona, Hotel America is in the most fashionable shopping area - Passeig de Gracia, with many of the cities attractions only a couple of stops on the Metro from the hotel. The Gothic Quarter and the Plaça Catalunya are within a 15 minute walk of the hotel, whilst there is a Metro Station just 5 minutes away, meaning Las Ramblas and all the other attractions of Barcelona can all be reached very easily. This 4* also benefits from an outdoor rooftop pool (summer) and gym facilities.

Getting there:

Nearest Metro Station : Diagonal (Lines 3 & 5) 5 minutes walk from hotel. Exit Metro towards Rmbla. Catalunya, but take right exit to street. Walk down Carrer Rosello for 2 blocks, crossing over Carrer Balmes. Turn left onto Carrer d`Enric Granados and you will find the hotel 50 metres along on the left. By train : Take Line R2 from terminal number 2 at El Prat Airport, to station Passeig de Gracia (approx 25 mins) The hotel is a 10 minute walk from this train station - exit onto Passeig de Gracia and turn left onto Provenca Street. The hotel is 3 blocks along.

City Tax: From 1st November 2012 the authorities in Barcelona will levy a tourist tax of 1.10 Euro per person per day (maximum 7 day charge) which is payable at the hotel on arrival and not included in the above room rate.
